Refund Policy

Refunds

First purchase only. If this is your first paid purchase with Lumen Nursing, you get a full refund if you ask within 7 days of buying and you have answered fewer than 50 questions. “First paid purchase” means the first paid plan bought by you, on any account, with any payment method. If you have had a refund before, or you have held a paid account before, this refund does not apply to a later purchase.

Renewals are not refundable. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Renewal charges are not refunded, except in this one case:

Forgot to cancel? If you request a refund within 5 days of the renewal charge, and you have answered zero questions since that renewal, we refund that renewal in full. Answering even one question in the new period means no refund.

Example: Your plan renews on March 1. On March 4 you email us and you haven’t answered any questions since March 1: full refund. If you answered one question on March 2, or you email on March 7, there is no refund. You can still cancel, and you keep access until the end of that paid period.

A question counts as answered when you submit an answer in any test, practice set or Predictor sitting. Opening or viewing a question without answering it does not count.

Always refunded, whatever your usage: billing errors, duplicate charges, charges after a confirmed cancellation, times the service was down or unusable for you (you may choose an extension instead), and any refund required by the law of your state or country.

Canceling. You can cancel anytime in one step at Account → Plans. Canceling always stops all future charges, even when no refund is owed. Your access continues to the end of the term you already paid for.

What is changing

This policy applies to purchases made from October 24, 2026. If you held a subscription before then, the earlier rule stays in place for you until the date given in our notice email (at least 14 days after we send it): a renewal charged before that date is refundable in full within 7 days if you have answered fewer than 50 questions in the new term. The fair-use limits on practice questions start for you on the same date.

The earlier wording, with its dates, is kept at Refund terms in effect until October 23, 2026.
